TOMMY LOFTIS COCAINE COURIERS PLEAD GUILTY MOBILE, AL–Julie Bowman, a Houston, Texas resident, and Anthony Brown, a Mobile resident, entered guilty pleas today before Senior United States District Judge Charles R. Butler, Jr., United States Attorney Deborah J. Rhodes of the Southern District of Alabama announced. Bowman plead guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and admitted that she transported 14 kilograms of cocaine from Houston, Texas to Wayne Lafitte in Mobile. Brown plead guilty to interstate transportation in aid of racketeering and admitted that he drove cocaine from Houston to Mobile. The case was investigated by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department, the Mobile Police Department and the FBI. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Deborah Griffin.
